CHAT PLAYS
I am sure quite a handful of you are confused as to what an ICCP is. So here is some clarification on what these sorts of role-plays are.
What is an ICCP? An "in character chat play." It is a form of quick and low-muse roleplaying that everyone partakes in, whether they realize it or not.
What is the posting format? Typically an ICCP is not written like a normal rp post is, and it is no where near comparable in length. An ICCP post will look something like this:
As you can see the post is extremely short and doesn't have much detail to it. That is what makes ICCPs so easy and fast-paced. There isn't much thinking you have to put into it and certainly no worry about matching length or the look of your post.
Why would I use an ICCP? An ICCP is perfect for quick rps where you want to bang out ideas or get a feel for something. Are you unsure how your character will interact with another? Then you can simply toss them together in an ICCP and go from there. They are also good for when you don't have the time or muse for a full-length thread. Often people use ICCPs for "silly plots" and the like.
Unless you state that it is a "crack" ICCP, it will automatically be assumed that any ICCP your character is in will affect their real plotting later on. For example if you ICCP with another character and the two end up fighting, then it becomes a fact in actual threads that they fought. So be careful what you do in an ICCP, just like threads.

*walks into the room and looks around. Spotting Joe he smiles and makes his way over.*
"Hey man, what's up?" *sits down next to him*

ICCPS DO AFFECT REAL RPING PLOTS!
