✗ Life had been great for Meredith. Born to one of the greatest scientists at that time, Friedrich Weltall, and a brilliant painter such as Anne Welltall, Meredith had grown to be, in turn, an even greater scientist than her father.

✗ Growing up surrounded by her love for science, she's been closed off most of her life, unaware of most the things humans experience: love, friendship, rivalry. She thinks it's a waste of time to determine the nature of a relationship between two individuals: in the end, it's all about survival, something she failed to succeed at when she tried to foolishly protect her assistant from death. The bullet was a little too much for her body to handle, really.

✗ She believes that death is just another experiment: she is still devoted to her cause, researching the effects of death on humans and will converse about it for days.

✗ Meredith cannot and will not cook. Last time she did that, someone almost died. Oh, irony.

✗ She has extremely low self-confidence and she will try not to show that to others, but will, more than likely, fail horribly. Lady Luck's never been on her side, and she doesn't believe in crap like that. She's a scientist, god dammit, she needs cold, hard facts!

✗ She has a no-nonsense attitude. While she will avoid getting into a conflict (waste of her time, really), she won't hesitate to give those who take science lightly a piece of her mind. And she's got quite an impressive mind, don't let her ridiculous height fool you!

✗ Her middle name is Fred. While, initially, one would think her father gave her that name in honor of his own name, it's actually the name of a cartoon character he liked at the time. Therefore, she will avoid divulging her middle name, as much as possible.

✗ She is actively interested in the kind of weapon that was used to kill her, as well as the person who did it. The audacity of it all! Wearing a mask to kill a brilliant scientist such as her when she was at the top of her career! Not that she can do much about it, really, she just wants to have a talk with that person when they join her in the Underworld.

✗ Even more ironic is the fact that she had two children, twins, but she will try to keep the identity of their father a secret simply because she cannot fully understand why she chose to make such an useless connection with a man.
